How To use Stock Photo Subscriptions & Content Planning Tools In Your Marketing

Introduction

Stock photo subscriptions can be a great way to ensure that you always have the right images, at the right time, for your social media posts and campaigns.

With content planning tools like Canva or Tailwind, you can use their templates and design packs to easily create consistent branded content within minutes.

Create a Style Guide

A style guide is not just a set of rules to keep your content consistent.

It’s also used to create a brand book, which you can use to establish your brand identity, or even create an entire kit for all of your marketing needs.

A style guide should include: the typefaces used throughout the project (heading, body text, etc.), color palette and patterns (which should be kept consistent), photography standards such as size, resolution and licenses; design elements like buttons or logos; and finally anything else that needs to be included in order for all materials produced using this style guide to fit into its framework.

Choose Your Stock Photo Subscription and/or Content Calendar Tool

Now that you’ve decided to implement some type of stock photo subscription and/or content calendar tool in your marketing, it’s time to decide which one(s) will work best for your business.

  • Stock Photo Subscription: A stock photo subscription is great because it provides access to thousands of high-quality images that you can use right away. Plus, most subscriptions offer unlimited downloads so you don’t have to worry about monthly quotas or limits when using their images.
  • Content Calendar Tool: A content calendar tool helps organize all the content (images included) across your entire website so it’s easy for others to see what has been published and what needs to be updated/uploaded in the future. This also makes it easier for marketers like yourself who may not be an expert in coding or web design since all this information is already laid out neatly within one place!
  • Content Library Tool: Most stock photo subscriptions have small libraries located somewhere on their website where users can download free photos whenever they need them; however, if yours doesn’t then consider implementing another type like a “Content Library” app instead which contains more options than just those offered by regular memberships alone such as downloading videos too! It might seem overwhelming at first glance but once we understand how our system works together then things start making sense fast.”

Set Up 1-3 Layouts for Visual Content

The easiest way to make this happen is by using a template.

You can use Canva, which has over 1 million free designs and layouts, or you can create your own custom templates. Here’s how they work:

  • Create a design that reflects the brand and colors of your business.
  • Upload it into Canva (or whatever tool you choose).
  • Schedule posts in advance, add them to calendars for social media scheduling, or email them directly from the app.

Use Canva Brand Kits to establish consistency across your content.

Branding is important. Your brand is the first thing that people will see of you, and it sets the tone for everything else they experience with your business.

It’s not just about creating a logo or having a cool color scheme; branding means establishing consistency across all aspects of your business.

The best way to establish consistency across multiple platforms is by using tools like Canva Brand Kits (I’ve written about them here) to create templates for all of your content so that every time you publish something, it has the same look and feel as other content on those platforms.

This helps customers easily recognize what comes from your business (and makes it easy for them find new things).

Add, Edit, or Delete Content

You can add any content you have in your library. You can also edit or delete existing content, as well as add new images and videos to the library.

To do this:

  • Click on the “Content” tab at the top of your page (directly under “Home”).
  • Click on “Add New.”
  • Select an image from a search result or upload one from your computer by clicking “Choose File” and selecting an image file from your hard drive (the maximum size for one photo is 7MB).
  • Enter a title for the image, then click “Save.”

Create New Content Projects

  • Create a new project.
  • Choose a template to use for this project, or start from scratch and build your own using the templates in Canva’s library of over 1 million images, illustrations, and fonts.
  • Add content to your project: You can either choose from our collection of stock photos (with millions more coming soon), or upload your own image files from any source, including Google Photos, Dropbox and Flickr.(And you can also add text—after all, we’re not just about photos!)
  • Save & Publish! Your design will be automatically saved on Canva as a PNG file so that you can use it again later on social media channels like Facebook or Pinterest without having to create it again every time

Consistency is key to making an impact with the content you share. Fresh, consistent branded content can be created in minutes with an easy-to-use design platform like Canva.

A stock photo subscription will help you curate a library of images that can be used across all of your marketing channels.

You can create new content projects and easily add stock photos from your collection into them, or simply add them to existing projects as needed.

This makes it easy for you to stay on top of all things related to visuals—and ensures everything looks cohesive when it comes time for launch! Stock photo subscriptions also include access to curated videos and graphics so that once again, consistency is there for everyone who sees what you have created.

Conclusion

If you’re looking to create a brand that stands out in a crowded marketplace and grow your business, then implementing stock photo subscriptions and content planning tools is the way to go.
